Two Indian military aircraft were shot down and one pilot was captured upon violating the Line of Control (LoC) when Pakistan Air Force aircraft undertook strikes across the LoC from within Pakistani airspace. It was a measured response to make India understand Pakistan's operational capability.

"Prime Minister Imran Khan in his address to the nation conveyed to the Indian leadership that Pakistan give preferential treatment to the peace and tranquility in the region," says a press release issued here on Thursday. The Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) strongly condemned the cowardly act of India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone mad as Indian elections are approaching. He is risking stability of the region. His government has crossed the limits of atrocities in Indian-held Kashmir.
